William Kanyha earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas in 2013 where he was a designated Academic Merit Scholar and on the Dean’s Honors List. Prior to law school, Mr. Kanyha graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
Mr. Kanyha’s legal experience includes representation of plaintiffs and defendants in civil matters, in both state and federal courts, including personal injury, auto accidents, mass torts, medical mal practice, real estate matters, contracts claims, negligence claims, partnership disputes, trade secrets claims, breach of confidentiality claims, and other business torts. Further, Mr. Kanyha is a licensed Patent Attorney with legal experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
Prior to joining the Crockett Law, Mr. Kanyha worked at a reputable personal injury law firm. He acquired the experience and compassion in representing clients who suffered injuries at no fault of their own. Mr. Kanyha’s determination and utmost attention to detailed allowed him to achieve over a million dollars in settlements for his clients either in the Court room or strong arming the insurance company to make sure they pay what was right fully owed to his clients.
